I lost $57 in mahjong last night to Jue Ling and Christine. Therefore I am going into hibernation for 10 days. I've never lost so much in mahjong before. D':

Perhaps this is retribution for winning $45 in a previous mahjong game with Aaron Travers and Dom.

Because of this, I think I shall not go for the lame games school orientation on Tuesday. Because I have to pay $25 or something like that. I don't think it's necessary according to Travers and Dom. I will just go for the morning session to listen to the talks in case I miss out on something important. :D

Can't wait to see the boyfriend tonight. :')

Feelin' rather emo at the moment. :( The feeling will pass I know. Just gotta wait it out.

I kinda wish I had more time and money to spare to catch up with a lot of friends that matter to me, used to matter to me a great deal and still do. But a lot of times, I either have to be busy doing something else, or I am too broke to go out. And as this cycle continues, the friendship just gradually dies.

This reminds me of my own revelation, that relationships with people that matter to you is also like an assignment with a deadline, just that the deadline comes like a thief.

We always take the people around us for granted, thinking that they are always there, thinking that there is no expiry date for the relationship. But it's not true. It really isn't.

How many times have I thought this way, only to realize I have already lost the person?

We always think that immediate assignments for school or jobs are way more important to complete than completing the invisible assignments in our individual relationships. So we put those invisible assignments aside and always spend all our time and energy in school or at work. But at the end of the day, when your time comes to an end, what or who do you want at your deathbed? Your career, or your loved ones?

Too many people forget that.

There are so many people I want to catch up with or spend more time with... Mum, Sam, Dad, Ah Ye, Jue Ling, Wee Kiat, Natasha, Nic, Dewi, it's a never ending list...

So yesterday the boyfriend, my mum, and I went for a movie, 17 Again. AK and I agreed that Zac Efron can actually act a lot better than he looks! Not bad at all for someone borne out of a series like High School Musical. Come to think of it, he is also the only one from High School Musical who has secured himself with numerous gigs. Hopefully he makes it far and matures into a Leonardo Dicaprio or George Clooney, rather than fading away into obscurity like many teenage starlets do. He does have the potential.

Mum wants to watch Fame next. Guess I will bring her for that as well. I need to spend more time with her.

So gonna start practising singing while playing tambourine. Basik basik!

I think girliness is my true nature because I'm feeling extremely girly these days, what with turning 21 and all. Yes, despite my hair. I feel all giggly and girly and happy with presents I have received. Perhaps I am feeling very happy to feel loved. :')



The first present I got on the 16th of April was from him, as mentioned in the previous entry. :)



So apparently AK organized this gathering thingy and asked people to come down to hang out with me, one of whom was my brother. I had no idea about this, and the fact that my brother bothered to come down was itself a wonderful present.

The people coming down to hang was also a present on it's own. Because honestly, I didn't expect anyone to bother.

Got some wishes from friends via sms and facebook, and it was nice to know that people remembered or bothered. There were even wishes from the most unexpected people (people I didn't expect would remember!!) like XM, and Babes. Twas nice...

And I got an awesome birthday present from my baby last night. Anna Sui's Flight of Fancy perfume! "For the girl who has so many flights of fancies," he said. :')

Would be going for sushi buffet lunch with Nicksome and Fezzsome in a bit! Wanted to take pictures but alas, no camera. But that's alright. Sushi looks the same everywhere. :D

Did some bit of springcleaning on my MSN contact list. Blocked and deleted some. Didn't see why there should be such idiots on my list anyways. So if you are reading this, and realized that I haven't been online, then you know where you stand. :D

I burn the bridges I don't need to cross.

Doing my hair this way has evoked strong reactions from many and it is very interesting because you can tell the character (or at least a lil bit of) of the reacting person through their different reactions.

Some were pretty opinionated and dished out a whole lotta opinions on how I should have done my hair, because "oh you should have dyed it brown so that it contrasts with your pale skin", or "you should have bleached it a brighter colour to make it look fiercer"...

Funny how all the opinions greatly differ from each other. XD

So at the end of the day, why depend on the opinions of people, when your decision concerns yourself and not others? The bottomline is, have faith in your own decision because this decision defines you as a person. Love thyself, love thy decisions.
