This morning when I opened the room door, I saw Limpet lying outside the toilet, all fat and fluffy. And for some reason, I felt all warm and fluffy and happy inside. So I smiled at Limpet and said, "Hello cutie poo!"
I guess I'm just happier to see Limpet outside rather than Mittens. Because I am constantly afraid of Mittens taking a swipe at my leg. (He has tried to do so before. But I screamed and jumped back.)
Limpet's the only cat that would follow me into the toilet and cuddle against my leg when I pee also. But then after that if I take too long, he would start mewing annoyingly at the door.
Okay I need some chocolate.
Rock Your World on the Waterfront

Last night was a pretty smooth performance with the Groovy People on the Waterfront. AK said that he was surprised with the performance and actually felt that it was awesome. It must have been pretty alright for AK to say these words.
So from left to right, that's me on keyboard plus backup vocals, James on lead guitar 1, Kevin on rhythm guitar plus vocals, Brian on bass, Thomas on lead guitar 2 plus backup vocals, and Han Quan at the back playing drums. Sadly you can't see him.
Here's a picture where you can kinda see Han Quan's head. I dunno what Kevin is doing. He looks like he's performing a magic trick or sth.
AK said I looked very bored during the performance. I can now see why through this photo. Hur hur...

Before us was King Kong Jane. I dunno why the pictures Amran took of them are so clear, whereas ours all blur blur one. Hmph! I kinda liked the song, Lemonade, by King Kong Jane. It's got a rather catchy chorus.

More blur photos of KKJ! Amran and I agreed that the vocalist has a certain charm about him. Vocalist of En-X got a lot to learn from him. How to be charming without trying too hard.
It was Stentorian after us. However I was very kan chiong to go home and check my mail after Arif told me that Esplanade emailed us. Therefore we did not stay to watch them. Though I must say Stentorian got power vocalist and keyboardist and grooves.

I Can't Believe It's Only Tuesday

My life is revolving around damnsian.com as much as the lives of NS guys revolve around army. Most of the things I think about these days are about damnsian.com. When I blog, I can only think of damnsian.com. I am about to die. No, this is not the way. My brain is exhausted at the moment. Need to crap.
I am now going to develop the content for the music section for Damnsian.com. It's a site that's gonna be started from scratch. And there are so many limitations, plus I have no experience in this aspect. Never worked for a magazine or a webzine before. This is where it starts I guess.
Going to Live "n" Loaded later to watch Dewi (Marchtwelve). I am thinking of interviewing Dewi and Jo, and Jon Chan and Sham for content for damnsian.com. I am actually having a headache thinking of what to put in damnsian.com music section. I thought it would be easier. But I guess I'm just not being focused enough.
I feel like I'm underperforming at work and I feel like I need to continue working from home. Is it just me? But I really feel that I have not achieved much. Especially today. I need to set up a few goals. Such as this: Make damnsian.com a hot site. Make local music hot as a result of damnsian.com. Are these achievable?
Jia Yi I'll Miss You

One of my best friends from poly is going to Australia to study and I will miss her very much. Her name is Lim Jia Yi and I will miss her fatty arms.
And also her smug face.
Most important of all, her ah lian leopard print style.
Last night a few of us, Shao Chong, Nic Jia Yi and I, went out for possibly the last time before she goes to Australia on Tuesday. A pity that JK and Bonk could not/did not want to join us. =( It would be nice if all of us could hang out one last time.
We went to watch Underworld 3 and it was a pretty enjoyable movie. Makes me want to watch Underworld 1 and Underworld 2 again. Though Nic and SC thinks it's a stupid movie with a bad storyline. The movie did remind me of the time when Bonk, Nic, JY and I went to watch Underworld 2 together. And JY kept screaming throughout the whole movie. Then Bonk kept making fun of her after that. Haha.
Oh yes I will miss JY's inconsiderate noisiness when watching movies too. =D
We went to take Neoprint after that as well. This is something that JY and I were always most willing to do, but something that the guys hated. Haha.
Shao Chong has conquered JY!
Nic obviously does not want to do this.

Moving to Digital Business means a great change in job scope and a very different life from Callcentre life. It's a really great change for me because everyday is so much busier than usual. There's always something to do, something more to learn. Time flies by and before I know it, the day is over. And in fact it feels like even with 9hrs a day, I'm unable to finish my work. It's not like in Callcentre, where time crawls by very very slowly, even though it's the same 9 hrs a day.
It feels very much more fulfilling to work under Bruce now. When my paycheque comes in, I should really get Stanley a small little token of appreciation for helping me move to Digi Biz. He didn't have to but he was kind and stuff. Maybe it's cuz he has kids himself and he could empathize with other kids? I dunno.
Sometimes I can't help but wonder what it would be like next time if I had kids. Would I be able to be more compassionate next time? Would I be more forgiving towards irritating kids like Shigga Shay? Would I kill my kid before he turns 13 so that I don't have to go through the torment of living with a teenager? (The murdering idea is from Amran not me.)

I am currently helping my colleague, Jacyln, with developing content for this website. I must say that it is really quite some fun work. Am really looking forward to watching this website grow into something better, something that people will actually go to when they are bored, or when they need some info that Damnsian provides.
Never expected myself to work in Yellow Pages but I must say that this is the best job I've had in the few years of my life. Though it has nothing at all related to my true passion, music. That is unless the bosses and Jacyln really decide to add in a section for music and entertainment. Then woootttss!! Add all the local music stuff in! Yay Yay Yay!!
Speaking of which, local music is really rising these days, what with Live and Loaded and all.
To Texas and Back last Saturday was so fucking awesome. I have never seen Homeclub so packed before, packed to the brim, spilling out of the club! I am very proud to say that my super capable boyfriend and his band and his label Kittywu has raised a whopping $4K with the help of donations from kind people who understood their plight and the Flea.Fly.Flo.Fun flea market!
