Got tattoos + long hair doesn't make one an ah beng okay? I also have tattoos and stuff but I am evidently not an ah lian. And I know a lot of other people who have even more tattoos and a much wilder image but they are more refined than any "refined-looking" person I know.

This reminds me of the incident at my grandma's wake a few months back, when 2 "refined-looking" men passed by and created a scene at the wake, completely disrespecting the occasion. And why? Just because they were pissed that the rope attached to the canvas tent was tied to the staircase railing.

They even said "Fuck you" to my poor old grandpa.

Ooohh how "refined".

Whereas my heavily tattooed best friend, Nic, came to the wake, greeted my relatives politely, and stayed with me throughout the night to accompany me.

Do I have to say more?
