Caught Australia last night with Baby Achmad.



I can easily say that this might be the best movie I've watched this year, just before it hits 2009. I would even give this movie 5 stars.

From the poster, the movie may look like a weepy sappy war romance. But do not be deceived. This movie is an excellent portrayal of discrimination against coloured people by the whites. And that despite the evil Whites that cause suffering upon the coloured people, there are still good Whites that see beyond colour and help the lives of others change for the better.

The movie was extremely touching. The excellent cinematography, combined with the very moving music, and the excellent acting of the actors (Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman = nuff said) makes up an almost perfect work of art.

Apart from the touching and moving scenes, there were also comedic moments in many parts of the movie. And I always think that a movie that can make you both laugh and cry, and inspire you at the end of it, is an excellent movie.

Do go watch it, you won't regret it.

Got tattoos + long hair doesn't make one an ah beng okay? I also have tattoos and stuff but I am evidently not an ah lian. And I know a lot of other people who have even more tattoos and a much wilder image but they are more refined than any "refined-looking" person I know.

This reminds me of the incident at my grandma's wake a few months back, when 2 "refined-looking" men passed by and created a scene at the wake, completely disrespecting the occasion. And why? Just because they were pissed that the rope attached to the canvas tent was tied to the staircase railing.

They even said "Fuck you" to my poor old grandpa.

Ooohh how "refined".

Whereas my heavily tattooed best friend, Nic, came to the wake, greeted my relatives politely, and stayed with me throughout the night to accompany me.

Do I have to say more?

Hi folks, I'm back from Bintan!

Currently my whole body looks like that of a skin-diseased person, all unevenly tanned with strange dubious blotches everywhere. I seriously cannot comprehend where the untanned stripes on my thighs and the strange untanned blotch on my back came from, though I suspect that the blotch on my back could actually be AK's hand resting on my back as I fell asleep on the tanning chair. CCB.

I've got a nasty eye infection in my right eye which has been there for about 3 days. When my eye first got red, I didn't expect it would be this bad. I thought it would go away after I wake up the next morning. Then I went to the doctor and he said that if I continued wearing contact lenses during this period of time, it might lead to cornea infection, and that would be quite a bitch to handle.

Thing is I'm going to Bintan tomorrow! How can I play water sports wearing spectacles? What if my spectacles drop into the sea while I'm sitting on the banana boat and gets swallowed by a shark? What if I get eaten up by said shark because I couldn't see the shark approaching due to the demise of my spectacles? =(

Sigh emo emo.

I've got a mean ulcer at the back of my right cheek also. It seriously hurts to chew food and talk.

Wassup with the right side of my face man? Maybe my face is corroding slowly starting from the right side. Maybe the pictures on the cigarette boxes are coming true for me!!!!! D=

It's the first time I'm given an offday on a normal weekday when everyone else is working. I simply spent the whole day watching Vampire Knight. Now I feel terribly fat and lazy and useless. I need to be somewhere else in about an hour's time but I just can't get my ass off the chair. Help.

I seriously hope it does not rain in Bintan this weekend whilst we are there. It cannot happen! I really wanna have a good holiday with him. =(

Anyway the new anime I'm watching, Vampire Knight, is starting to get quite interesting! Yam you got watch? Hehe... If you do, let me know!

I think I can be a real bitch sometimes if I feel like it. I dunno why, it just comes out. It's not like I have any evil intentions or anything like that. The bitchiness just comes out from no where.

Like how I seriously think this new Part Timer at Yellow Pages must totally hate me now. Haha. He had to buddy with me yesterday, which means that I had to teach him and monitor his progress and stuff. I couldn't control my temper at one point because he didn't seem to be bloody listening to what I was telling him! And he kept making the same mistakes, or he wasn't doing what I was telling him to do.

For people like that I really cannot tahan. So I didn't give him face and just scolded him. Plus he's a guy who's older than me. Ha! But that's too bad! So old still dunno how to listen to instructions, not my problem.

On hindsight, I actually think all the students I have ever taught for tuition, or piano lessons, or whatever, hate me. Lol.
